Jennifer Williams’ Husband Christian Gold Hit With $367K Default Judgment Over Alleged Ponzi Scheme

Things are getting legally messy for Jennifer Williams’ husband, Christian Gold, also known as Christian Walden. According to newly surfaced court documents, Christian failed to respond to a civil lawsuit filed against him — a move that ultimately led the court to issue a default judgment totaling $367,625.20.

The plaintiffs allege that Christian solicited money under the guise of investment opportunities, but instead of investing the funds as promised, he allegedly kept the money and misled investors about where their funds were going. The lawsuit claims Christian obtained $120,460.86 from the plaintiffs and engaged in behavior consistent with a Ponzi-style scheme.

In addition to the investment allegations, the plaintiffs accused Christian of violating the Georgia RICO Act, citing claims of racketeering, embezzlement, and fraud. Because Christian reportedly never responded to the lawsuit or appeared in court, the judge ruled in favor of the plaintiffs by default.

As part of the ruling, the court awarded:

  • Liquidated damages
  • Treble damages under Georgia’s RICO statute
  • Pre- and post-judgment interest

All combined, the final judgment landed at $367,625.20.

Neither Christian nor Jennifer Williams has publicly commented on the judgment as of now. The development is already sparking heavy conversation online, with many questioning how this ruling could impact the couple moving forward.
