Carl Crawford Crowns Diamond The Body as 1501’s Newest Queen
Carl Crawford is adding some fresh star power to his 1501 Certified roster — and this time it’s coming with reality TV flair. The music exec and former MLB player announced that Baddies star Diamond The Body is officially the latest artist to sign with his label.
The two took to Instagram to break the news. In the clip, Carl proudly introduced Diamond as 1501’s newest “princess,” but Diamond quickly and confidently corrected him — letting the world know she’s a queen, not a princess.
“That’s for little girls,” she said with a smirk, making sure her title came correct from the start.
To cap off the announcement, Carl playfully spun Diamond around while quipping, “No BBL needed,” a subtle jab and reference to Erica Banks’ past surgery.
Between Diamond’s bold personality, TV fame, and 1501’s track record of breaking artists, it’s clear Carl is betting on her to make a splash in the rap game. Looks like the label’s next era just got a little louder — and a lot more unapologetic.
