Brit Eady Sues Bravo for $20 Million Over Alleged Defamation and Sexual Harassment Following RHOA Scandal

Brit Eady is taking legal action against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production companies Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America, filing a bombshell lawsuit on Thursday alleging defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and sexual harassment. The legal move stems from the explosive scandal involving fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kenya Moore, who was accused of distributing explicit images at her salon opening in June 2024.

According to court documents, Eady alleges that Bravo and its affiliates “knowingly misled the public” into believing the woman in the NSFW photo—reportedly showing a sexual act—was her. The image, which surfaced during Moore’s spa launch event, led to immediate backlash, despite Eady not being present at the time. Kenya Moore was later removed from the show, but the damage, Eady claims, was already done.

The lawsuit states that Bravo “falsely yet unmistakably implied” that the graphic photo depicted Eady, and further harmed her by airing cast reactions in Season 16’s April episode. Eady asserts that the network subjected her to a hostile and sexually inappropriate work environment by forcing her to continue filming despite the emotional trauma caused by what she described as a “gendered attack.”

In addition to demanding that the controversial episode be pulled from all platforms, Eady is seeking a minimum of $20 million in damages. She made the lawsuit public the same day she took to social media to clarify that she was not the person in the explicit image and confirmed her absence from the Season 16 reunion was directly related to the incident.

Bravo has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit.
