Longtime Atlanta radio personality Darian Morgan, better known to fans as Big Tigger, is speaking out after authorities released his booking photo following his recent arrest.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office released Big Tigger’s mugshot on Wednesday, days after he was arrested on battery and cruelty to children charges stemming from an alleged domestic incident involving his wife, Alicia Brown.

According to authorities, Morgan was taken into custody on Saturday and later released after posting a $10,000 bond.

Following the release of his booking photo, the veteran broadcaster addressed the situation publicly, issuing a statement through social media in which he firmly denied the allegations against him.

“I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me,” Morgan wrote.

The former BET Rap City host went on to reflect on his decades-long career and reputation, emphasizing the relationships he has built throughout his life.

“For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community. Those who know me know the man, father, husband, and friend I have been throughout my life,” he stated.

Because the matter remains active in the legal system, Morgan said he is limited in what he can discuss publicly but expressed confidence that the facts will ultimately support his position.

“What I can say is that I have complete confidence in the facts and in the legal process. I will continue to cooperate fully and trust that the truth will come to light.”

He concluded his statement by thanking supporters who have reached out to him and his family during the ongoing legal battle.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and encouragement. My family and I are deeply grateful.”

The case continues to develop as authorities and the courts work through the allegations. No final determination has been made regarding the charges, and Morgan maintains his innocence.

Big Tigger has remained a staple of Atlanta radio and entertainment for decades, building a career that spans radio, television, and community outreach throughout the city.
