In a major breach of security for one of the world’s biggest superstars, unreleased music, top-secret tour plans, and other sensitive materials belonging to Beyoncé were stolen in Atlanta last week, according to a police report obtained by WSB-TV.

The theft occurred on July 8 in a parking deck near Krog Street Market, just days before the first of Beyoncé’s four sold-out shows at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The items were taken from a rental Jeep being used by choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, two key members of the superstar’s creative team.

Grant told police that the stolen items included “hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta,” which contained watermarked music, unreleased tracks, footage, past and future set lists, and detailed plans for the stage production.

The report added that Grant had also been carrying “personal sensitive information” for the Grammy-winning icon, whose ongoing Cowboy Carter Tour has been shrouded in tight-lipped secrecy.

In addition to the digital files, the thieves made off with clothing, laptops, sunglasses, and a pair of AirPods Max headphones. That latter item helped investigators trace movement via Apple’s “Find My” tracking feature.

Police reportedly stopped a vehicle that matched the headphones’ last known location and questioned a person who had been in the car. Despite the stop, no arrests were made at the time.

However, a major breakthrough came on Monday, July 14, when an arrest warrant was issued for a suspect, per WSB-TV reporter Michael Seiden. The identity of the suspect has not been made public as the investigation remains ongoing.

The final night of Beyoncé’s Atlanta run is scheduled for Monday evening, and the Cowboy Carter Tour will conclude later this month with two highly anticipated performances in Las Vegas.

Despite the security scare, there has been no disruption to the tour so far, and Beyoncé’s team has not issued a public statement regarding the incident.
