Benzino Expresses His Opinion That R. Kelly Shouldn’t “Rot In Jail” for His Crimes Against Minors
Benzino thinks R. Kelly deserves another shot and shouldn’t have to spend 30 years locked up. A clip from Benzino’s chat on the We in Miami Podcast, aired on April 24, started going around on social media on Wednesday (May 1).
In the clip, the former Source co-owner talks about R. Kelly’s imprisonment for child sexual abuse charges. Benzino says Kelly shouldn’t get such a long prison sentence because his victims were only a bit younger than the age of consent in most U.S. states, which is typically 16.
