Antonio Brown Joins Adin Ross on Livestream After Police Detainment, Releases Statement

Former NFL star Antonio Brown found himself in the spotlight once again, this time off the field and in the middle of a chaotic post-event altercation. Following Adin Ross’s much-anticipated celebrity boxing event, Brown was seen being temporarily detained by police in handcuffs after an incident in which he allegedly pulled out a firearm and discharged it.

According to multiple witnesses, Brown was reportedly jumped by a group of individuals attempting to rob him of his chain shortly after the event concluded. In response, Brown allegedly pulled a weapon and fired shots, though it remains unclear if anyone was injured. Police arrived on the scene and detained Brown as part of their investigation.

Brown was later released without arrest and went on to appear on Adin Ross’s livestream with friends later that night.

The former wide receiver addressed the situation in a social media statement:

“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.

I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.
