Jonathan Wright Is Home! Celebrity Hairstylist Makes His Return After Serving Prison Time

Jonathan Wright is officially back home — and he’s letting everybody know he’s ready for his next chapter! 🔥🏆

The celebrity hairstylist announced his release from prison on Thursday, September 24, marking his first Instagram feed post since October 2025.

Wright had been incarcerated following a gun-related charge. Reports circulating online have claimed the case involved an alleged incident at an airport in Texas, although specific details about the location and circumstances have not been independently confirmed. He was reportedly arrested and sentenced to one year in prison in December 2025.

In January, a message shared on Wright’s Instagram said he was “doing very well” and in “good spirits,” while thanking supporters for their calls, messages, prayers and love.

Now, Wright is back — and his latest post makes it clear he believes the comeback is just getting started.

“I DID MY TIME… NOW IT’S MY TIME. 🥶🏆 I’m coming home with a different Mindset, a Bigger Vision & Something to Prove. THE RETURN STARTS NOW. 😈 The MF King Home 🏠🔥 FDO. TOUR DATES COMINGGGG…” he wrote.

The post featured Wright sitting inside a black truck while showing off a large JW diamond pendant and chain. His signature locs appeared to have been replaced with cornrows, and another photo showed the hairstylist shirtless while displaying his physique and jewelry.

Wright also shared photos with loved ones and what appeared to be welcome-home gifts.

The final slide featured several people wearing black hoodies displaying Wright’s mugshot on the back — making it clear his supporters were ready to celebrate his return. 👀

Wright also teased an upcoming tour, although it remains unclear whether the dates will focus on hairstyling, club appearances or a combination of both.
