Keke Wyatt Arrested in Georgia on Terroristic Threats, Assault & Child Cruelty Charges
R&B singer Keke Wyatt is facing legal trouble in Georgia after being arrested on three charges.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Wyatt was arrested on September 20 and booked into the Henry County Jail on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and cruelty to children.
Authorities say Wyatt was released from custody two days later after posting a $1,050 bond. Details surrounding what allegedly led to the charges have not been publicly disclosed.
Wyatt rose to national attention in the early 2000s through her collaborations with R&B singer Avant, including the popular duets “My First Love” and “Nothing in This World.” Both songs appeared on her gold-certified album Soul Sista.
The singer also became a familiar face on reality television after starring in all three seasons of TV One’s R&B Divas: Atlanta, as well as her own series, Keke Wyatt’s World.
The case remains pending, and the allegations against Wyatt have not been adjudicated in court.
