Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Smith Hit With Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Pretty Ricky member Spectacular Smith is facing a new lawsuit from an Arizona woman who alleges the rapper contacted her through Instagram, gained her trust and later sexually assaulted her.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Alexis Dieng filed the complaint in August and claims Smith initially reached out in October of last year while asking her for restaurant recommendations. She alleges the two eventually arranged to meet in person.

Dieng claims Smith initially provided one meeting location before changing the plans to a residence in Maricopa County. According to her complaint, she arrived at the residence alone around 10:30 p.m. the following night.

The lawsuit alleges Smith initiated physical contact and had sexual intercourse with Dieng without her consent. She further alleges that Smith put his hands around her neck and applied pressure that restricted her breathing. Dieng also claims the alleged encounter was recorded without her consent.

Her attorney, Benjamin Taylor, told TMZ that they intend to seek justice for their client.

Smith has not been found liable in the allegations, and the lawsuit remains a civil claim. He is best known as a founding member of Miami R&B/hip-hop group Pretty Ricky, whose hits include “Grind With Me” and “Your Body.” Smith later moved into entrepreneurship and founded social media company Adwizar.
