Tracee Ellis Ross is taking PATTERN Beauty into its next chapter—this time, turning up the heat.

The actress, producer and beauty entrepreneur has introduced PATTERN’s new Heat Essentials, expanding the brand’s approach to styling while staying rooted in the needs of curly, coily and tight-textured hair.

The collection includes a Vibrating Flat Iron, featuring ceramic-coated plates designed to vibrate up to 12,000 times per minute, alongside a Blow Out Primer, Detox Shampoo and Flexible Hold Spray. The launch continues PATTERN’s expansion beyond traditional wash-day products into a more complete beauty and styling destination.

And Ross brought some familiar faces along for the rollout.

Anderson .Paak and Ryan Destiny appear alongside Ross in the new promotional campaign, adding music, style and Hollywood energy to the brand’s latest moment.

For PATTERN, the move into heat styling also carries a larger message: embracing natural texture doesn’t mean limiting how you choose to wear your hair. The brand is positioning its latest products around versatility—giving consumers the freedom to move between curls, coils, blowouts and sleek styles while remaining conscious of their hair’s needs.

Since launching PATTERN in 2019, Ross has steadily expanded the company from cleansers and conditioners into styling products, tools, accessories and beyond. The Heat Essentials represent another evolution of that original mission.

Because for PATTERN, celebrating texture has never meant having just one way to wear it.
