The courtroom got tense as the woman accusing Stefon Diggs of assault stepped forward to tell her side of the story — and her testimony is painting a layered, complicated timeline.

Jamila Adams testified that her connection with the NFL star didn’t start as business — it started personal. According to her, the two first linked through Instagram about four and a half years ago when Diggs reached out about hiring her as a chef. But over time, she says things shifted.

Adams described their relationship as “complicated,” explaining that what began as a friendship eventually turned sexual. Despite that, she later accepted a formal role in February 2025, claiming she was hired to live with Diggs and cook for him, earning $2,000 a week while also helping with his nutrition and recovery during what she called his “comeback year.”

She told the court she stayed at his home from July through December, but tensions reportedly started building late in the year. According to Adams, issues arose involving people in Diggs’ inner circle — including allegations that she was spreading rumors about his relationships with other women connected to his staff.

One situation involved a woman named Lindsay, who Adams claims also had ties to Diggs’ household. That drama allegedly led to arguments and restrictions, including Adams being told she couldn’t join a trip to Miami for Art Basel — something she said upset her, especially since she had plans connected to Cardi B.

Adams then described the day of the alleged incident, telling the court an argument escalated into a physical altercation that left her shaken. She claimed she was so frightened during the situation that she lost control of her bladder and was bleeding due to her menstrual cycle.

After the incident, Adams said she packed up and left town, heading to New York City with another staff member. Despite what she says happened, she testified that she still gave Diggs birthday gifts before leaving and didn’t immediately tell others — alleging the other staffer also had a sexual relationship with him.

Adams also admitted on the stand that she deleted certain text messages before going to police, saying she feared how they might be interpreted.

The case is still unfolding, and no final judgment has been reached. As testimony continues, both sides are expected to present more evidence in what’s shaping up to be a highly scrutinized legal battle.
