A disturbing video has surfaced showing the harrowing moments of a mass shooting at rapper Mello Buckzz’s Hollyhood mixtape release party in Chicago, where 14 people were shot and four tragically lost their lives.

New Footage Reveals Chaotic Scene

The video, released Thursday (July 3), shows a black sedan driving up to the Artis Restaurant and Lounge on West Chicago Avenue in the River North area—where the celebration was being held Wednesday night. From the vehicle’s passenger side, gunfire erupts toward a crowd gathered outside the venue. The panicked group is seen fleeing for safety as bullets fly.

The victims fatally shot in the drive-by attack have been identified as Taylor Walker, Aviance Drexler, Devonte Terrell Williamson, and Leon Andrew Henry, according to reports from Channel2 Now.

City Leaders Respond to the Violence

In response to the mass shooting, city officials including Mayor Brandon Johnson and Police Superintendent Larry Snelling held a press conference Thursday to address what authorities are calling a “targeted act of violence.”

“Our detectives are working around the clock to piece together what happened,” Snelling said. “Our goal is justice—not only to honor the lives lost but to remove individuals responsible for this from our streets.”

“I wouldn’t wish this kind of pain on anyone 💔 Dam my f**king crew,” she wrote. “Prayers up for all my sisters. God, please wrap your arms around every last one of them. We need you—I need you. I’m really messed up.”
