Shannon Sharpe Ex Girlfriend Michelle Bundy Give Details Of The Night He Sexually Assaulted Her After She Told Him No

Shannon Sharpe, NFL Hall of Famer and media personality, is facing mounting legal pressure as serious allegations of sexual assault and abuse emerge from multiple women, including a harrowing account from former girlfriend and sports reporter Michele Bundy Evans.
In an exclusive sit-down with The U.S. Sun, Evans, 53, described a decade-long relationship with Sharpe that allegedly turned violent and coercive, culminating in a graphic incident in 2010 which she claims involved sexual assault. Evans, who met Sharpe in 2002 while covering the Denver Broncos, filed a civil lawsuit in December 2023 alleging the former tight end raped her following a heated argument in his Atlanta home.
“He was controlling, domineering, and manhandled me,” Evans said, visibly shaken as she recalled the encounter. “I told him no. I told him why. And he wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
Evans further alleged Sharpe threatened to destroy her reputation if she spoke out and harassed her at work. She previously filed a restraining order in 2010, accusing him of surveillance, threats, and coercion—claims she has since reiterated in her ongoing defamation lawsuit.
The allegations are part of a broader pattern now emerging against Sharpe. Another woman, identified as Jane Doe, filed a $50 million lawsuit in Nevada accusing him of rape, emotional abuse, and coercive control during a 2024 relationship. The woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee—known for representing the accusers of NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson—described Sharpe’s behavior as “an egregious abuse of power.”
Sharpe has denied all allegations, with his attorney calling Evans’ claims “fanciful exaggerations” and part of a “fabricated narrative.” His team has accused Evans of attempting to profit from the past and stated that Sharpe has had no contact with her for years. They also referenced Evans’ past legal trouble, including a prison sentence, and claimed she is acting out of obsession.
Meanwhile, Sharpe recently stepped away from his role on ESPN’s First Take, stating he plans to return for the NFL preseason. The broadcaster has not addressed the specific accusations on air, but legal filings suggest his team is preparing for a prolonged court battle.
Adding to the controversy, The U.S. Sun also uncovered two past arrests for Sharpe—one in 1995 and another in 2004—both related to alleged domestic battery incidents. In both cases, the women involved accused Sharpe of physical aggression, although the charges were either dismissed or settled through mediation.
For Evans, the decision to go public after more than a decade came from a place of fear, trauma, and frustration. “When this happens, you’re in a trauma mindset,” she said. “You’re not thinking straight. I feared for my life.”
Sharpe’s legal team continues to deny all wrongdoing, calling the claims baseless and harmful. With multiple lawsuits in motion and public scrutiny intensifying, what was once a celebrated athletic and media career now hangs under the dark shadow of serious and disturbing allegations.
