A$AP Rocky Confesses to Raiding Rihanna’s Closet and Stealing Her Clothes

During an appearance on The Run-Through with Vogue podcast on Thursday, May 1, Rocky playfully admitted that he often “steals” clothes from his superstar partner’s wardrobe.

“Man, pardon my language, I do what the f— I want,” Rocky said with a laugh. “I want to represent, I want to be a catalyst for daring men… I don’t know who drew the line between femininity and masculinity, but I don’t see any barriers for me.”

The Harlem-born artist explained that fashion is a two-way street in their household. While Rihanna has long been known to borrow from his closet, Rocky insists it’s only fair he gets to do the same—even if it’s without her knowing.

“She has pieces she don’t know that I actually stole,” he revealed. “Sometimes you can see her on an interview or see a paparazzi photo like, ‘Wait. There goes my Miu Miu f—— jacket! I was looking for that since 2021.’”

Rocky, who has long embraced unconventional menswear choices—from kilts to pearls to babushkas—also used the interview to champion fashion fluidity and its deep historical roots. “For me, kilts, pearls, shirts on the head… these are all things that were meant to look feminine. And they all started with African men wearing them,” he explained. “Another fact.”
