Diddy’s Legal Team Claims Freak-Off Tapes Prove His Innocence

The legal team representing Sean “Diddy” Combs is pushing back strongly against federal accusations tied to a set of explicit videos involving Diddy and his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. In a new statement, Diddy’s attorneys claim that the tapes—referred to as the “9 freak-off tapes” by prosecutors—actually exonerate him and show no evidence of wrongdoing.
Prosecutors have argued that the tapes, which were reportedly in the possession of Cassie for years before being voluntarily handed over to investigators, depict “produced sx performances” and suggest a pattern of manipulation, coercion, and even sx trafficking. They allege that Diddy orchestrated these videos under dubious circumstances, including claims of hidden cameras and the use of the tapes as collateral.
However, Diddy’s defense team is adamant that the tapes only depict consensual, intimate moments between two adults in a committed relationship. Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Diddy’s attorneys argue the videos show Cassie in a “happy and in control” state, actively participating in the scenes. The defense also emphasizes that there are no signs of violence, coercion, or drug use, countering the prosecutors’ accusations.
Key to Diddy’s defense is the claim that there is no evidence supporting the allegations of trafficking or manipulation. His legal team further asserts that the tapes were stored on Cassie’s devices, and she chose to turn them over to investigators without any external pressure.
The defense team also refutes the idea that the tapes were ever used as “collateral” or that Diddy had any control over them. In fact, they claim the tapes were not even on his personal devices, reinforcing their argument that the recordings were private moments that have been wrongly misconstrued.
With the federal charges still hanging over Diddy’s head, his legal team continues to maintain his innocence, stating that the tapes, in fact, prove that no crime occurred. As the case develops, the spotlight remains on this high-profile legal battle, and both sides are preparing for what promises to be a closely watched courtroom showdown.
