Witness in Young Thug Case Arrested for Refusing to Testify

Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland, a key witness in the YSL RICO trial, was arrested after refusing to testify against rapper Young Thug. Despite being granted immunity, Copeland invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination during cross-examination, leading Judge Ural Glanville to hold him in contempt of court. Copeland, who has prior convictions and was cooperating with authorities since 2021, will remain in Fulton County jail until court proceedings resume.
