Tisha Campbell recently linked up with her goddaughter Alijah Kai, daughter of her longtime friend and actress Tichina Arnold, while visiting Atlanta.

Tisha made time to hang out with Alijah and show her some love as she prepares for her major role as Rashida Duvall in Netflix’s upcoming A Different World sequel series.

And if that isn’t a full-circle Hollywood moment, we don’t know what is! 👏🏾

Alijah is stepping into the spotlight while carrying the legacy of both her mother and godmother. Tisha Campbell became part of the A Different World family during the original series, while Tichina Arnold got one of her early major television opportunities on The Cosby Show.

Now, years later, Alijah is creating her own path while standing on the shoulders of two women who helped pave the way.

In the new A Different World sequel, Alijah plays Rashida Duvall, a first-generation criminal justice major attending Hillman College alongside a new generation of students.

With her mom Tichina in her corner and Tisha cheering her on, Alijah definitely has some legendary Hollywood aunties in her corner! ❤️🎬

The legacy continues — but this time, Alijah is ready to make her own name.
