Sauce Walka Mourns Loss of Artist Sayso P Following Fatal Memphis Shooting with Tribute Post

Sauce Walka recently took to Instagram to express his grief over the tragic loss of his artist, Sayso P, who was fatally shot in Memphis on March 22. The two were victims of a shooting outside the Westin Hotel in downtown Memphis, where three gunmen reportedly opened fire on them.
In his emotional Instagram post, Sauce Walka shared the pain he felt after losing his close friend and collaborator. “Words or tears can’t explain the loss I feel!” Walka wrote, revealing the deep connection he had with Sayso P. He continued, reflecting on their bond: “I told u we could smoke that blunt after security and the rest of our familia pull up.”
Despite Sayso P’s determined personality, Walka expressed that he would have ridden with him no matter the situation. “You always so hardheaded blood but u kno ima ride wit u regardless we come together we leave together,” he said. Walka also shared his regret about the trip to Memphis, wishing Sayso P had gone a different route. “Wish u just went DR wit shimmy and shot off and skipped this trip to memphis but u was too excited i finally agreed to come to da M.”
Ending his heartfelt message, Sauce Walka made a passionate plea for an end to violence in the streets. “I hope one day we all STOP TAKING LIVES from our communities and actually start to enjoy and build better futures for our cultures,” he wrote. “But the streets are the streets so I accept what came with being your big brother. I love u Splatt.”
In the aftermath of the shooting, Sauce Walka was treated for a non-critical gunshot wound to his leg. Meanwhile, Sayso P tragically succumbed to his injuries. A few days later, Sauce Walka paid tribute to his late brother, stating, “This shit don’t stop, gotta keep dripping,” followed by, “RIP my brother.”

This tragic incident highlights the ongoing violence in communities across the country and the heavy toll it continues to take on individuals and families alike.
