Sara Rivers Threatens Legal Action Against Former Bandmate Chopper Over Defamatory Claims

Sara Rivers, former member of Da Band, has threatened legal action against her ex-bandmate Chopper after he made defamatory statements about her in a recent interview. The claims stem from Rivers’ emotional recounting of her troubling experiences with music mogul Diddy in the Peacock documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy. In the documentary, Rivers tearfully recalled an incident in which Diddy allegedly touched her inappropriately, describing the situation as both intimidating and distressing.
However, Chopper, in an interview with The Art of Dialogue, cast doubt on Rivers’ story, asserting that he witnessed Diddy summoning her to his penthouse in the early hours of the morning during their Da Band days. Chopper further alleged that Rivers returned from these encounters disheveled and intoxicated, insinuating that she had engaged in inappropriate relations with the mogul. He also claimed to have walked in on Rivers and another bandmate, Freddy P, allegedly involved in a sexual encounter.
These statements, which Chopper made without evidence, have sparked outrage from Rivers and her legal team. Rivers responded on Instagram, condemning the allegations as lies and accusing Chopper of seeking attention through fabricated stories. She expressed her determination to defend her reputation and hinted at legal action against those spreading falsehoods.
In a formal statement, Rivers’ team made it clear that they consider the accusations both unfounded and harmful, announcing that they have secured legal representation to pursue justice. The statement reaffirmed Rivers’ integrity and emphasized that any defamatory remarks would not be tolerated.
Rivers and her team are now focused on seeking accountability and exposing the truth behind the sensationalized claims.
