Future is back in court after his ex, Layla Sanad, filed a paternity case claiming he is the father of her 9-year-old son.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Layla filed the case in Florida seeking to officially establish paternity and secure child support from the rapper.

Layla claims she and Future were once in a romantic relationship and says they had a son together in 2017, identified in court documents by the initials K.W. She alleges that Future has already admitted privately that he is the father.

In addition to making the paternity official, Layla is asking the court to award child support, including two years of retroactive payments.

However, Future is pushing back. In January 2026, he reportedly filed his own court documents asking for the Florida case to be dismissed and moved to Arizona, arguing that Layla and the child both live there.

Future also noted that he already filed a case in Arizona. In those filings, he reportedly acknowledged being the father of a boy named Kash Wilburn and said he has been voluntarily paying Layla $3,500 a month in support.

The court has not yet ruled on whether the case will stay in Florida or move to Arizona.

Future is known to have several children, including a son with Ciara, and this latest case is adding another chapter to his ongoing legal and family matters.
