Peter Thomas, entrepreneur and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, has turned himself in to a Miami prison — and he’s doing so with a message of raw honesty and accountability.

In a bold and emotional Instagram post, Peter shared a photo of the entrance to the facility alongside a deeply personal caption, urging fellow entrepreneurs to stay on top of their financial obligations, specifically withholding taxes.

“All my people told me not to post this… I’m not CRAZY, just real as f**k,” Peter wrote. He explained that the legal consequences he now faces stem from unpaid business taxes and emphasized the difficulties Black men face in the hospitality industry, where bank support is rare and most ventures are self-funded.

“This is a NEW chapter in my life. It’s called accountability & responsibility — my road to redemption,” he continued, citing his desire to set a strong example for his three sons and four grandsons.

Peter also made it clear that his faith isn’t a new discovery spurred by hardship: “I didn’t just find GOD in my time of troubles — I was raised this way.”

While the exact length of his sentence hasn’t been confirmed publicly, Peter’s message is resonating across social media as a rare moment of transparency, humility, and strength in the face of personal challenge.
