🚨 Mystikal Pleads Guilty to Rape Charge — Facing Up to 20 Years After Shocking Assault Case

Louisiana rapper Mystikal has pleaded guilty to a serious charge stemming from a 2022 assault case.

The artist, whose real name is Michael Tyler, entered a guilty plea to third-degree rape on Tuesday in connection to an incident that allegedly took place at his home in Ascension Parish.

According to reports, the victim accused Tyler of beating, choking, and robbing her, claiming he took her keys and phone to prevent her from leaving. The woman said while searching for missing money, she was forcibly assaulted.

Authorities also allege that after the assault, Tyler forced the victim to send him money through CashApp before allowing her to leave.

Initially, Tyler faced multiple serious charges including first-degree rape, domestic abuse by strangulation, simple robbery, false imprisonment, and property damage. However, he ultimately pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of third-degree rape.

He is now facing up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for June. Had he been convicted on the original charges, Tyler could have faced life behind bars.

This is not the first time the rapper has faced similar accusations. Back in 2004, Tyler was convicted in a sexual assault case involving his hairstylist, serving six years in prison and later registering as a sex offender.

The latest development marks another serious chapter in the rapper’s legal history, as he now awaits sentencing that could once again put him behind bars for years.
