Meek Mill Warns Akademiks Will ‘Lure Young People In’ With New Platform After Twitch Ban

Meek Mill is once again calling out DJ Akademiks, this time in response to the streamer’s recent suspension from Twitch.
Days after Akademiks made inappropriate sexual comments toward a 15-year-old streamer, Twitch banned him from the platform. While Twitch hasn’t publicly stated the reason for the ban, some users believe it could also be linked to Ak calling Adin Ross during his stream—Ross was permanently banned from Twitch in 2023.
Meek Mill, who has been one of Akademiks’ most vocal critics, took to social media to warn that this won’t be the end of Ak’s influence.
“He gone create another platform to lure young people in,” Meek tweeted. “Keep y’all kids away from these weird internet figures!”
The Philly rapper’s comments reflect a growing concern about the impact of certain online personalities on young audiences.
Do you think Meek has a point, or is he taking it too far? Let us know your thoughts.
