K. Michelle Unleashes on Tamar Braxton in Explosive Interview with Cam Newton

K. Michelle did not hold back during her candid appearance on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast—and if you thought the long-standing drama between her and Tamar Braxton had fizzled out, think again.

In a raw and emotional sit-down, the “Love ‘Em All” singer opened up about her frustrations with the music industry, her personal battles, and most notably—her deep-rooted animosity toward Tamar Braxton.

Cam Newton kicked off the conversation by asking if the music industry harbored the same kind of beef among women that’s often seen among men. That’s all it took for K. Michelle to light the fuse.

Without initially naming names, K. Michelle described an unnamed “Muppet” who has allegedly made her life difficult since her Love & Hip Hop days. But there was no ambiguity—she was clearly referring to Tamar.

“There was this Muppet in the corner yapping… even when Beyoncé sent me flowers… she subliminally—but not subliminal—talked about me,” K. Michelle recalled.

She went on to accuse Tamar of intentionally blocking her from bookings, interfering with her money, and even stirring up drama involving men in the industry.

“All because you ain’t got no edges. All because your sister really the star… All because of the man you love trying to talk to me,” she said pointedly.

Despite the venom in her words, K. Michelle insisted that she supports women and women’s empowerment. But when Cam pressed her on how that aligns with her saying she wants to slap someone “on sight,” her stance didn’t soften.

“That is a Muppet, not a woman,” she replied.

“You’re not gonna let anybody consistently keep playing with you… At some point, I have to defend myself.”

K. Michelle made it clear that she isn’t promoting violence but feels years of being targeted behind the scenes left her with no choice but to speak up and defend herself publicly.

The rift between K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton has spanned years—marked by shade, social media jabs, and tense interviews—and judging by this latest outburst, the feud is far from finished.
