Music legend Lionel Richie was reportedly admitted to an intensive care unit following a recent performance in St. Louis, prompting an outpouring of concern from fans around the world.

The 77-year-old entertainer reportedly began experiencing health difficulties toward the end of his August 29 concert at The Muny. During the final song of his set, Richie requested a chair and completed his performance while seated.

Following the show, Richie checked into a hospital as a precautionary measure. Possible dehydration is reportedly being investigated, though an official diagnosis has not been publicly confirmed. His current condition and the potential effect on future tour dates also remain unclear. People
