Kelly Price is clapping back and not holding anything back!

On Tuesday (Sept. 2), the 52-year-old R&B powerhouse hopped on Instagram Live to air out frustrations with the trolls who’ve been flooding her comment section. She specifically aimed her fiery words at Black women who she says have been “nasty and disrespectful” about her appearance.

Price also took a moment to address men, declaring:

“Any man who feels the right to disrespect a woman who has never done anything to them… you’re a bch. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.”**

The “Friend of Mine” singer reminded viewers that before her gospel journey, she was a “Black girl born and raised on the South Side of Jamaica, Queens”—a clear warning she’s not above getting back in the mud if pushed.

Her rant didn’t stop there. Price addressed critics mocking her weight, wardrobe, and shoe size, clapping back with:

“I’m making my money looking like a ‘fat slob’ in clothes y’all say are nasty. And I’m still getting paid.”

She also fired shots at what she called “DEI hires,” saying while some people are “losing jobs,” she’s booked and busy.

But the harshest words were for Black women specifically:

“The things we say about other Black women, but then want to be activists, educated, this, that, and the other… find yourself because a degree does not give you class. A degree doesn’t get you into heaven. And being a keyboard thug? That’ll only get your a whooped when somebody walks up on you that you didn’t know was watching you.”**

Social media, of course, had plenty to say. Some accused Kelly of being hypocritical—reminding her of her own messy moments on R&B Divas. Others praised her for standing firm and unapologetic.

Either way, Kelly made it crystal clear: she’s not tolerating any disrespect, and she’ll always defend herself—saved or not.
