Jim Jones Responds To Kanye West’s Accusations of Being “Broke” and a “Liar”

Jim Jones is clapping back at Kanye West following Ye’s recent comments accusing him of being “broke” and ungrateful over a past business deal. Appearing on Way Up With Yee hosted by Angela Yee, the Harlem rapper took a moment to directly respond — and didn’t hold back.

Referencing Ye’s behavior, Jones said bluntly, “Boy got a little screws loose, ain’t it? Obviously, from the things that he’s been talking about, my dude needs attention. Like, he wants to be the most famous person in the universe of all time.”

Jones continued, implying Kanye thrives on controversy: “If he’s not the person being talked about, then he’s talking about everybody else so people can talk about him… Sometimes you going too far though, bro.”

The interview took a more personal turn as Jones revealed private texts Kanye had sent him — including one where Ye allegedly challenged him to a fight. “He texted me and said, ‘I will fight you.’ I said cool — I’ll fly to L.A., we can shoot the 31 [seconds]. I’ll kick your ass for 31 seconds, then hug you after.”

Despite the humor, Jones emphasized how Kanye had disrespected his own time and work. According to Jones, Ye asked him to stay and work on fashion projects the day before Jones’ album release — but didn’t show the same support in return. “You knew my album was coming out. Nor did you say, ‘Congratulations.’ Nor did you post it. It was all about you.”

The Dipset rapper also mocked Ye’s claim that he didn’t understand how to open a PDF file. “How you make a billion dollars and don’t know what a PDF is?” he said. “I build computers, engineer my own sessions — of course I know how to send a PDF.”

Jones ended the segment by calling out Ye’s tendency to take credit without reciprocating, stating: “When you show me you’re not willing to do anything for me, I can’t f*** with you. You just lost one.”
