Jadakiss Responds To Social Media Saying He Was Raised Like ‘The Huxtables’

Jadakiss is setting the record straight for anyone questioning his upbringing.

On a new episode of his Joe & Jada podcast with Fat Joe, the LOX legend addressed social media chatter claiming he grew up privileged like the Huxtables. Jada wasn’t here for it.

“Some asshles in the comments think I grew up like the Huxtables,” he said. “I don’t know what the fck is wrong with these people, but coming from where we come from, it’s a beautiful thing to have both of your parents.”

While some critics equated his two-parent household to being rich, Jada broke it down plain and simple: “Do that mean we wasn’t in the street? No. That mean our household had gold spoons? No. My moms bust her ass. My pops was on drugs. He was able to shake back. I was outside doing sh*t. I was smart in school, I was athletic, but I was outside.”

Jadakiss went on to call it a blessing to grow up with both parents, regardless of the struggles they faced. “Just ask the people, just ask the cops, just ask anybody you wanna ask. For some reason these people think you can’t be solid if you had both your parents. Are you some type of assh*le?”

At the end of the day, Jada wants the world to know — his story is his story, and nobody can rewrite it.
