On Friday, June 13, hip-hop icon and actor Ice Cube took to X (formerly Twitter) to air out a personal grievance — and it involved the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

According to Cube, his iPad was stolen during his travels on United Flight 2615 from Los Angeles (LAX) to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD). Never one to hold back, the West Coast legend blasted the agency publicly:

“TSA stole my iPad out [of] my bag tonight,” he posted.

“I need my sh*t back ASAP, or it’s [going] [to] [be] a problem.”

Ice Cube didn’t stop there — venting his frustration at the situation and the system:

“B*tch just had the nerve to leave a TSA check bag slip where they it stolen from. Another dirty government agency. SMGDH.”

The fiery posts quickly gained traction online, sparking reactions from fans and critics alike. Some echoed Cube’s frustration with alleged TSA misconduct, while others debated whether it could have been an airline issue or a broader security oversight.

However, in a surprising twist just hours later, Ice Cube announced that the iPad had been recovered:

“iPad Recovered!!!!!!”

No further details were given about how it was returned, whether TSA responded directly, or whether United Airlines played a role in the retrieval. But the incident raised broader questions about travel security, passenger rights, and how common items are misplaced or taken during screenings.

For now, Cube appears satisfied with the return — though it’s clear he won’t forget the experience anytime soon.
