Fivio Foreign Touches Down After 6 Months in Jail — Beats 5-Year Bid, Gets 3 Years Probation Instead

Brooklyn drill star Fivio Foreign is officially back home after spending over six months behind bars. On August 1st, the rapper walked out of a New Jersey jail following a court ruling that credited him for the 196 days he had already served.
The case stems from a January incident in which Fivio was accused of threatening a woman with a firearm. Facing a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 20, he ultimately struck a plea deal — pleading guilty to terroristic threats.
His attorney, Adam Lustberg of Lustberg Law Offices, called the outcome a win, given the steep sentence that could have been on the table. Instead of a long prison stretch, Fivio will serve three years of probation.
As part of that probation, the rapper must stay out of trouble and pass routine drug tests — standard terms designed to keep him in line. For now, fans are just glad to see him free, back in Brooklyn, and (hopefully) focused on music instead of court dates.
