Erica Mena Says Bernice Burgos Is Her Skin Color Goals, Responds To “Blackfacing” Backlash

Erica Mena has been hit with some serious backlash after calling calling Spice a monkey on love and Hip Hop Atlanta. However, that’s not keeping her from living her best life. She was on live while on vacation with her girls and made some comments about her own skin color.

“I better leave here the same colour as Bernice. If I’m not Bernice’s colour, I’m not getting on that plane.”

Now we don’t know if she was trolling or serious but of course she received more back lash for her statement in the comments on the blogs. She responded in TSR’s comments.

“Who wouldn’t want to have Bernice’s beautiful colour. Especially on vacation. The fact that I actually do get color naturally in the sun ALL my life and it’s now being considered as me blackfacing is pathetic.”
