David Justice Spills the Tea: Halle Kissed Another Actor Right in Front of Me and Couldn’t See Her As Mother Of His Kids

Former MLB star David Justice, ex-husband of Hollywood royalty Halle Berry, recently took to the All The Smoke podcast to peel back the curtain on their early ’90s marriage. The revelations? Raw and unexpected.

Justice, who tied the knot with Berry after a whirlwind five-month relationship in 1993, admitted he wasn’t fully ready when she popped the question—but agreed to keep the peace. 

Once married, Justice said the cultural divide started to show. He recounted a specific moment: Berry leaned in to kiss another actor on the lips, right in front of him. When he questioned it, she shrugged it off, saying, “That is how we behave in Hollywood.” That moment reportedly pushed Justice further away emotionally. 

He also shared how he grew up with ideals shaped by his Midwestern roots—expecting a partner who cooked, cleaned, and embodied maternal traits. Berry fell short of that picture for him, and he began doubting whether she was the right woman to raise a family with. 

Their marriage ultimately ended in 1997. But even decades later, Justice says the public optics painted him as the villain. He alleges Berry stayed silent as rumors swirled—especially regarding an unnamed abusive ex—from which he suffered by association.
