Anthony Edwards Scores Major Win In Baby Mama Battle As Judge Sets Child Support At $3,222 A Month

NBA superstar Anthony Edwards has reportedly secured a major legal victory in his ongoing child support battle with Ayesha Howard.

According to court documents, a Georgia judge ruled that the Minnesota Timberwolves star will pay $3,222 per month in child support for the former couple’s 1-year-old daughter.

The ruling comes after months of legal back-and-forth between Edwards and Howard regarding where the case should be heard and how much support should be awarded.

Court documents reportedly show that Edwards, who signed a massive five-year contract worth more than $200 million with the Timberwolves in 2023, has already paid substantial financial support.

Since January 2025, the NBA star has allegedly made an initial payment of $20,000, followed by monthly payments of $5,000, totaling approximately $110,000 in support payments before the trial concluded.

The judge also reportedly noted that Howard did not appear at trial and failed to provide evidence supporting her claims.

As previously reported, Howard initially filed a child support case in California, while Edwards sought to have the matter handled in Georgia.

Edwards argued that Howard had no legitimate ties to California and alleged that the filing in Los Angeles was an attempt to secure a larger child support award.

His legal team further claimed that Howard repeatedly prolonged the legal proceedings and requested that the court prevent additional filings in California.

Ultimately, the court sided with Edwards, determining that Georgia had jurisdiction over the case and establishing the monthly child support amount there.

The decision marks another chapter in what has become a highly publicized legal battle surrounding the NBA All-Star’s personal life.

Neither Edwards nor Howard has publicly commented on the judge’s ruling.
