Ray J’s brutal knockout loss to Supa Hot Fire is turning into a full-blown controversy after promoters launched an investigation into possible foul play surrounding the fight.

According to statements released by Brand Risk Promotions, an internal investigation is now underway after one of the fighters allegedly hinted there may have been a “prearranged plan” connected to Saturday night’s MMA-style celebrity bout in Las Vegas.

While the promotion never directly named Ray J, fans immediately connected the announcement to the singer’s bizarre comments following the knockout loss.

After getting stopped in the opening round, Ray grabbed the microphone and shocked viewers by saying, “Yo, I thought we had a plan,” before quickly attempting to backtrack and saying he didn’t want to “get anybody in trouble.”

He also added, “We lost a lot of money tonight,” which instantly fueled online speculation that the fight may have been staged.

Social media exploded with conspiracy theories shortly after clips of the comments went viral, with fans questioning the strange pacing of the first round where very few punches were thrown before the sudden knockout ending.

Brand Risk Promotions says the investigation is now being handled by an attorney and former federal prosecutor to determine whether anyone attempted to manipulate the outcome of the fight.

The company stressed that any proven misconduct would be considered a serious violation that “strikes at the heart of the sport.”

So far, no actual evidence has surfaced proving the fight was fixed or choreographed.

Adding even more concern to the situation, reports say Ray J later checked himself into a Las Vegas hospital after the fight due to heart-related issues and reportedly remained there for two days under medical supervision.

Neither Ray J nor Supa Hot Fire has publicly provided further clarification about the controversial post-fight remarks.
