D4vd Charged with Murder in Connection to Death of 14-Year-Old Girl 😳⚖️

D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, has now been formally charged in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.

According to prosecutors, Burke was charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances after investigators spent months building the case following the discovery of Celeste’s remains in September 2025.

Officials say Burke could face life without parole or even the death penalty if convicted, though prosecutors have not yet decided whether they will pursue capital punishment.

Authorities also filed additional charges alleging sexual offenses involving a minor and mutilation of a body.

Investigators say the case began after a Tesla abandoned in the Hollywood Hills was towed to an impound lot. Inside the vehicle’s front trunk, authorities say they discovered decomposed human remains later identified as Celeste Rivas.

Family members reportedly said Celeste had been missing for more than a year and had been communicating with someone named David before her disappearance.

At the time, D4vd was on tour promoting his album Withered and continued performing publicly while the investigation remained ongoing.

Authorities later searched a home connected to Burke’s management team, where they reportedly seized electronic devices and other materials tied to the investigation.

Burke remains in custody without bail. His family and legal team have denied the allegations against him as the case heads toward trial.
