Looks like the lyrical smoke is heating up after Brooklyn rapper Papoose dropped a freestyle aimed directly at 50 Cent — and he did it over one of 50’s most iconic beats.

While driving in his car, Papoose recorded himself rapping over the instrumental to Many Men (Wish Death), delivering bars that quickly caught attention across social media.

During the freestyle, Papoose took several direct jabs at the G-Unit mogul and referenced the ongoing controversy surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In one of the more talked-about lines, Papoose mentioned Daphne Joy, who is the mother of 50 Cent’s son. He suggested that Diddy had involved her in his alleged “freak offs” and claimed that 50’s motivation behind producing a documentary about Diddy was tied to personal feelings about the situation.

The freestyle immediately started trending online, with fans debating whether the diss was justified or if Papoose was simply stirring the pot in an already heated hip-hop climate. However, 50 trolled Papoose and Claressa Shields on social media a few months back.

50 Cent has been heavily vocal about Diddy in recent months, even teasing and promoting a documentary project centered on the music mogul’s legal troubles. The G-Unit boss is also known for frequently trolling rivals and critics on social media.
