Offset Clears $1.5M IRS Debt Amid Messy Divorce From Cardi B — But Millions More Still Loom 👀💸

Offset is checking one major bill off his list — but his financial drama is far from over.

According to Us Weekly, the Migos rapper has officially paid off a massive $1.5 million federal tax lien as his divorce from Cardi B continues to play out behind the scenes. Newly filed IRS documents dated December 26, 2025, confirm that Offset satisfied a lien totaling $1,575,266.73 for unpaid taxes from 2022.

The lien was originally filed back on April 3, 2024, and its release significantly reduces Offset’s outstanding tax burden — though not entirely.

As previously reported, Offset is still dealing with additional tax trouble. In October 2025, the IRS slapped him with another lien claiming he owes $486,426.35 for 2023 taxes. On top of that, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a separate lien in March 2025 for an alleged $292,000 owed for 2021, once interest, penalties, and collection fees were added.

Altogether, the remaining unreleased liens total $778,426.

Cardi B publicly addressed the tax issues back in September 2025, claiming they were a major reason her divorce from Offset has been dragging on. In a candid rant, Cardi alleged she was being pressured to cover Offset’s tax debts and even give up property just to finalize the split.

“The only reason why I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes,” she said. “I’m not gonna live my life because on a contract I’m practically still married because somebody wanna hold me hostage.”

The former couple, who first linked up in 2017, share three children: Kulture (7), Wave (4), and Blossom (1). Cardi has since moved on and announced in September 2025 that she’s expecting her fourth child with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

Meanwhile, Offset is also battling legal issues outside of taxes. He’s currently fighting a $232,000 default judgment stemming from an alleged assault at a Florida nightclub in 2021. Two men claim the rapper attacked them without provocation, causing injuries that required medical attention. A hearing is scheduled for February 2026, where Offset will attempt to overturn the ruling.

Bottom line: Offset may have handled Uncle Sam — but the drama surrounding his finances, divorce, and legal battles is still heating up.
