Kevin Gates’ Wife Dreka Files for Divorce After 9 Years — Wants Custody, Spousal Support & No Coins for Kevin!

It’s officially a wrap for Kevin Gates and his longtime partner Dreka Gates. After nearly a decade of marriage and years of public ups and downs, Dreka pulled the plug and filed for divorce on Wednesday, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

Dreka, who also used to manage Kevin’s career, listed the separation date as July 10 and cited the standard “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The couple shares two children — 12-year-old Islah and 11-year-old Khaza — and Dreka is asking for joint legal and physical custody of both kids. She’s also coming for spousal support, while making it crystal clear that Kevin shouldn’t get any from her, checking the box to block him from receiving any coins.

No word yet on whether there’s a prenup in play, but the filing comes just a few months shy of what would’ve been their 10th wedding anniversary — the two got married in October 2015.

Kevin’s rep tells TMZ the rapper is “unfortunately declining to speak” on the matter at this time.

While Kevin and Dreka had long been known as a ride-or-die pair — even weathering rumors and messy headlines — this time it looks like things are officially done.
