Dreka Gates Takes Kevin Gates to Court 💔💰 | Files for Child and Spousal Support

Looks like Kevin Gates is catching heat in the courtroom — not the studio. The Louisiana rapper’s estranged wife, Dreka Gates, is accusing him of cutting her and their kids off financially while still living large with new homes, luxury whips, and a millionaire lifestyle.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Dreka says things went left in late 2021, when Kevin allegedly began to “dismantle the financial foundation” of their family. She claims he stopped paying for basic family expenses, including property taxes and their children’s private school tuition.

Meanwhile, Dreka says Kevin’s been flexing his wealth — allegedly purchasing 18 luxury vehicles and a $4.7 million Calabasas estate — all while their Mississippi farm faces foreclosure due to a reported $7 million IRS tax lien.

Now, Dreka’s asking a judge to order Kevin to pay up — specifically $27,193 a month in child support and $46,274 in spousal support.

In the filings, she also claims Kevin is taking a “factually baseless position” by insisting that the two were never legally married, despite tying the knot back in October 2015. The couple share two children, Islah (12) and Khaza (11).

Dreka’s requesting primary custody of their kids, saying they’ve been with her 95% of the time since 2023. She filed for divorce earlier this year, citing irreconcilable differences.

As for Kevin, he hasn’t responded publicly — but the story has fans online debating whether Dreka’s just seeking what she’s owed or if the rapper’s being unfairly targeted amid a messy breakup.
