JT Reacts to Donald Trump’s Return as President: “Can’t Believe It”

City Girls rapper JT expressed shock and concern over Donald Trump being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. Taking to social media, JT tweeted, “I can’t believe Donald Trump [is] really the muthaf**king president,” as the 78-year-old Republican leader took office, ending Joe Biden’s term.
JT also reacted to the sudden lifting of TikTok’s ban, which coincided with Trump’s inauguration. “And the one-second TikTok ban with his name attached got me scared [as f**k]. I can’t breathe,” she shared in a separate post. The social media platform had gone dark on January 19 but was restored within 24 hours. TikTok credited Trump for providing “clarity and assurance” to its service providers.

The rapper’s reaction comes amid anticipation for her recent musical projects. Her 2024 solo album, City Cinderella, featured collaborations with DJ Khaled, Stunna Girl, and Jeezy, alongside standout tracks like “OKAY” and “JT Coming.” Notably, the album’s track “Red Flowers” referenced Trump Tower in its lyrics, adding a coincidental twist to her current comments.
As Trump’s second presidency begins, JT’s reaction mirrors widespread conversations about the political and social changes expected during his administration.
