Nelly Set to Perform at Donald Trump’s Inaugural Ball
Rapper Nelly is scheduled to perform at President-elect Donald Trump’s Liberty Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2025, joining a lineup that includes Jason Aldean and The Village People.

In a 2017 interview with Page Six, Nelly expressed his disapproval of Trump’s presidency, stating, “I liked Donald Trump… I just don’t like Donald Trump as my president.” He further commented on Trump’s behavior, saying, “He doesn’t surprise me as a person, he surprises me as a president… Because you don’t expect certain things, certain attitudes.”
