‘Love Island USA’ Star Hannah Smith Charged with Threatening to Kill Police Officer

Hannah Smith, known for her appearance on Season 6 of “Love Island USA,” has been formally charged with two felonies: terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

The charges stem from a September 30, 2024, incident at an Atlanta concert venue where Smith was escorted out for disorderly conduct. During the escort, she allegedly attempted to punch Officer Kayla Winkfield and, while handcuffed, tried to kick the officer multiple times. En route to the detention center, Smith reportedly threatened to kill Officer Winkfield and her sister.

A source close to the investigation claims Smith’s threats included racially charged language directed at Officer Winkfield.

Following her arrest, Smith was released on an $8,000 bond with conditions prohibiting the consumption of alcohol and requiring random alcohol and drug testing.
