Metro Boomin Addresses Kendrick Lamar-Drake Rap Beef

Producer Metro Boomin recently weighed in on the ongoing tension between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, addressing how fan behavior, particularly “stan culture,” has escalated the situation to uncomfortable levels. In a recent conversation, Metro expressed that while he has respect for both rappers, the way fans engage with the beef has made it “kind of weird.”
The producer highlighted how this obsessive fan culture often amplifies rivalries between artists, turning simple disagreements into much bigger controversies. Metro Boomin believes that while friendly competition is a part of hip-hop, the current climate makes it difficult for artists to coexist without their fan bases pitting them against each other.
Though neither Drake nor Kendrick Lamar have publicly commented on the feud recently, Metro’s observations shine a light on how social media and stan behavior can sometimes worsen conflicts in the music industry.
