During NBA YoungBoy’s recent court hearing, his fervent fans interrupted the proceedings by shouting “Free YB” and telling Judge Spencer Walsh to “shut your btch as up” when asked to mute their microphones. The incident, shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram, quickly went viral. Fans commented humorously about the potential consequences of their actions, with one suggesting it might add years to YoungBoy’s sentence.

The rapper appeared in court regarding his ongoing prescription drug fraud case, which includes charges of identity theft, forgery, and possession of controlled substances and a dangerous weapon. The judge postponed the trial to August 19 after YoungBoy’s lawyer arrived late, citing a doctor’s appointment.

Previously, YoungBoy had his bail revoked and was transferred to a different prison in May. He had been under house arrest in Utah for two years due to a federal firearm case in Louisiana.
