NBA YoungBoy Receives Presidential Pardon from Donald Trump

Rapper Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, known professionally as NBA YoungBoy, has been granted a full presidential pardon by former President Donald Trump. The pardon absolves Gaulden of his federal conviction for firearm possession, for which he was serving a nearly two-year sentence in Utah.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Gaulden expressed gratitude to Trump, advocate Alice Marie Johnson, and his attorney Brittany K. Barnett, stating, “This moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I’ve worked hard for and I am fully prepared to step into this.”

With the pardon, NBA YoungBoy is now free of legal restrictions and is preparing for his upcoming “MASA” tour, scheduled to begin in September and run through October.

This act of clemency follows Trump’s previous pardons of artists such as Lil Wayne and Kodak Black during his presidency.
