Tyler Perry Finalized Deal To Buy BET Media Group
If you all may recall, Diddy and Tyler Perry were in the running to buy majority stake in BET. Looks like Perry was the winner in that battle. Word on the internet curb is that Tyler Perry has finalized the deal. This new deal, valued at an undisclosed amount, will give Perry control of BET Media Group, which also owns VH1. Tyler has already been in business with BET since 2019 with the joint venture of Tyler Perry Studios and Paramount steaming to launch BET+. Reps for BET did not respond but we hear Perry’s rep will be making an announcement soon.
