He shared how he had tried to intervene by advising Meech to stop using drugs and spending money recklessly, but things took a serious turn when co-star Russell Hornsby noticed Meech was “high as f***” on set.

According to 50 Cent, the situation escalated during a weapons test scene, where Meech began throwing up. It was later revealed that Meech had whippets in his truck, prompting 50 Cent to take action. “I had to send MeMe to rehab,” 50 Cent wrote. He explained that Big Meech’s behavior seemed to stem from discomfort with his and his Lil Meech’s relationship.
