💥 Wendy Williams’ Lawyer Claps Back — Calls Dementia & Aphasia Reports “False” and “Self-Serving” 🗣️⚖️

Wendy Williams’ legal team is not holding back after reports claimed new medical tests confirmed her 2023 diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

Her attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ the leaked diagnosis is “false” and being pushed by “a party with a vested interest in keeping Wendy trapped under this excessive and restrictive guardianship.” Tacopina slammed the leak as a violation of Wendy’s human rights, adding that neither he nor Wendy has actually seen the alleged report.

“The critical questions are these: Where is the actual medical report? And who is the doctor willing to go under oath and face cross-examination by me so the truth can be exposed?” Tacopina said.

The backlash comes after People cited anonymous sources claiming a battery of medical and neuropsychological exams reaffirmed Wendy’s original diagnosis. Her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina E. Morrissey, had recently filed court documents noting Wendy would undergo a series of tests — and requested a pause in litigation with A&E over the “Where Is Wendy Williams?” documentary until the guardianship court rules on her status.

Wendy has been fighting to end her guardianship, and sources previously told TMZ she passed several capacity tests earlier this year when she was briefly released from her assisted care facility — which she once described as a “luxury prison.”

For now, the legal and medical battle over Wendy’s future remains tangled in secrecy, conflicting narratives, and high-stakes court decisions.
