Tommie Lee arrested outside Club LIV in Miami Beach
Reality TV star and rapper Tommie Lee was arrested early Monday morning outside of Liv nightclub in Miami Beach.
At around 2:20 a.m., police apprehended 39-year-old Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, known as Tommie Lee, outside Club LIV at 4441 Collins Ave.
Officers arrived to find Jefferson being restrained by the victim, who told police that Jefferson, a stranger to him, had approached him closely and tried to place an unknown object in his hand.
The victim declined the item and attempted to ignore Jefferson, who then allegedly became upset and poked him in the face.
The victim responded by holding Jefferson’s arms behind her back until police arrived, as documented in the arrest report.
Surveillance footage reviewed by police confirmed the victim’s version of events. Jefferson, formerly of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” was arrested on a battery charge and taken to jail without incident.
